an A.I.R. project

2025

During my one-month residency at the Refinery Artspace in Nelson, I explored the idea of home as a repository of memories and experiences. I see our homes, and the objects within them, as carriers of layered histories, emotions, and personal narratives. To begin with, I examined the cracks and flaws in my own home — traces that hold stories and memories. Moving on, I collected discarded building materials, transforming them into wearable jewellery, giving form to the invisible weight of memory and place.

This residency was supported by Creative New Zealand.
