About
Eva Kerer is a contemporary jewellery artist based in Nelson Whakatū, New Zealand Aotearoa. In 2023, Eva received her Bachelor of Arts in Media (contemporary jewellery and photography) from NMIT, Nelson. Since then, she has exhibited her work both in New Zealand and internationally. As a conceptual maker, her practice combines traditional metalsmithing methods and materials with experimental techniques and found objects, challenging conventional notions of jewellery. Eva explores jewellery as a communication tool, questioning traditional perceptions of value and craftsmanship and examining the meanings attached to the materials.
