All jewellery in this shop is handmade by me, Eva Kerer, in Nelson, New Zealand. Unlike mass-produced jewellery, handmade pieces may show subtle variations in form, texture, or finish. These are not flaws but a reflection of the artisanal process, adding to the uniqueness and character of each piece.
By purchasing from this shop, you acknowledge and value these characteristics as part of what makes handmade jewellery special.
Product Variations & Care
Handmade jewellery may vary slightly from photographs due to lighting, screen settings, and the natural properties of materials.
Small irregularities are part of the making process and evidence of the human hand behind the work.
Black oxidation (patina) is preserved with museum wax, but will naturally wear over time. Please avoid showering or swimming with oxidised pieces.
Pearls are strung on silk, which is delicate and should be kept dry.
Jewellery is best stored in a box, away from moisture, to minimise tarnish.
As a small independent maker, I can only offer returns or exchanges for faulty items. Please note:
Refunds are not available for change of mind, gifts not to the recipient’s taste, or custom/sale items.
Returns cannot be accepted if a piece has been altered (e.g., resized) or repaired by another jeweller.
Return Process:
Contact me within 14 days of receiving your piece, with proof of purchase and photographs if the item or packaging is damaged.
Do not return an item without contacting me first.
Items must be returned unworn, unused, and in original packaging. Please note that 'unused' means there are no scratches, dents, or other damage.
If approved, I will offer repair, exchange, or store credit. Refunds are only provided in the case of a confirmed fault.
Shipping costs (original and return) are not reimbursed.
Liability
I am not liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by misuse, improper care, or accidents involving the jewellery.
Privacy
Personal information provided at checkout (such as your name, address, and email) will only be used to process and deliver your order. This information will never be shared with third parties, except where necessary to fulfil your purchase (e.g., shipping providers).
Your Rights
These Terms & Conditions do not limit your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. For international customers, please note that your local consumer protections may differ.
Force Majeure
I am not responsible for delays or failure to fulfil orders due to circumstances beyond my control (such as natural disasters, strikes, or shipping disruptions).
